The AI Technology Challenge aims to address sector-wide issues with innovative AI solutions to create transformative disruptions in sectors of strategic relevance to Singapore.

Its objective is to advance AI technologies and innovation that can be adopted by the public sector and the industry to solve important sectoral problems and create socioeconomic impact for Singapore.

The Technology Challenge (Open-Theme) is a bottom-up approach to incentivise original and significant solutions.

Applicants will define the target sector, problem scope, design approach and potential impact for the target sector.

Thematic Challenges

The Thematic Technology Challenges are scoped with our partner agencies overseeing sectors of strategic relevance to Singapore. Applicants will submit proposals to address a pre-defined target sector and problem statement.

The AI Technology Challenge (Open-Theme) – Industry Edition (OTTC4I) Apr 2022 Call for Full Proposals is now open from 18 April 2022 to 27 June 2022, 1800hrs (GMT+8).

The OTTC4I supports the development of AI technologies and innovation that can be adopted to solve important problems and create transformative disruptions in sectors of strategic relevance to Singapore, thereby generating socioeconomic benefits for Singapore.
