AI Singapore is excited to launch the Smart City Ideation Challenge with the aim of seeking insights from the global AI community on “What are the AI problems worth solving towards Smart City Sustainability?”
The problem statements are expected to be:
1) Impactful to the digital economy, and
2) Feasible to develop into AI challenges
We seek proposals under 2 categories towards building resilience and optimising resources in the digital economy:
- Spam & Misinformation: The problem statements under this category should explore how to leverage AI for fast detection and intervention of misinformation or phishing attacks in multilingual and/or multimodal settings.
- Sustainability & Carbon Neutrality: The problem statements under this category should investigate how to utilise AI for the recovery of local resources from major waste streams, including electronic, plastic and food wastes.
